Hoop Cerceau

Spring collection · free delivery in France from €49

Move for the fun of it.

Hula hoops sorted by what you feel like doing, not by spec sheet. Wake up your waist in ten minutes, hoop in the garden with your child, track your moves, or build a flow at a festival — every chapter has its hoop.

Recreation, not exercise — woman with a hula hoop in a bright living room

About · Recreation, not exercise

The circular move your body already knows.

Hoop Cerceau was born from a simple belief: you don’t need a gym, a coach or five fitness podcasts to get moving again. Ten minutes of hooping in the living room in the morning, while the coffee brews, is enough to wake up your waist and get your body going.

Our catalogue is sorted by use — adult core work, kids’ play, smart hoops, dance and flow — because you choose a way of moving, not a spec sheet. Our weighted hoops in tubular steel and NBR foam are built to last; the kids’ hoops to brighten a summer in the park; the LED hoops for flow.

We talk about recreation, fun and movement — never calories burned, never a flat stomach in thirty days, never a revolution. The spin is enough.

Guide

How to choose your hoop

  • By weight

    0.7 – 1.2 kg

Light to get started, heavier for core resistance. Above 1.2 kg, comfort goes out of the window.

  • By diameter

    60 – 100 cm

Measure from the floor to your navel. A little bigger is forgiving; a little smaller is punishing.

  • By use

Living room · Garden · Studio

The setting decides the shape: collapsible for travel, LED for the studio, lightweight for children.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you spin.

Which diameter should I start with?
Adults (1.55 m to 1.80 m tall): a hoop between 90 and 100 cm gives you the right leverage without weighing the movement down. Children aged 4-10: 60-75 cm, measured from the floor to the navel. If in doubt, go for the bigger one — it is easier to keep spinning than a smaller one.
How heavy should my first weighted hula hoop be?
To wake up your waist in 10-15 minutes in the morning, 0.7 to 0.9 kg is plenty. Above 1.2 kg, the hoop tires your hips within minutes — it is a performance format, not a comfort one. Better to start light and move up in weight once the movement feels fluid.
Can the hoop be taken apart for travel?
Most of our adult hoops are made of 6 or 8 click-together sections — allow 30 seconds to assemble or pack them away. Ideal for taking to a Wednesday-evening hoop-dance class or tucking behind a piece of furniture. This feature is shown on each product page when it applies.
How do I look after it?
A wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap is all it needs. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can damage NBR foam or PVC. Leave to air-dry. For LED hoops: remove the batteries before cleaning.
What is the difference between a core hoop and a dance hoop?
A core hoop (chapters I and III) is weighted and wider, designed to keep spinning around your waist while you engage your core. A dance hoop (chapter IV) is lighter, sometimes smaller, and designed for tricks, flow and arm/leg passes. The two disciplines go well together but each needs a different hoop.
